I have been dancing competitively for 8 years. I have had many accomplishments such as being a Title winner and being a finalist in various competitions. I have attained numerous overall high score awards for solo,trio,duet and group dances. I have been the recipient of scholarships, special judges awards and invitations to dance at various nationals. I have also worked as a student dance teacher for the past few years. I have participated in community events such as the Mastic/ Shirley Christmas Parade, dancing at the Long Island Ducks Game, The Mastic Beach Seafest, The Mastic Beach Harvest Festival and danced at various nursing homes throughout Long Island. I have also been chosen to be a student Ambassador for the People to People Summer Abroad Exchange Program twice. I was recently named Captain of The Cheerleading Team @ PACA Middle School. The hard work and dedication that dance has taught me has certainly paid off and branched out into other areas of my life and I am very grateful for that.
